Over 2 years with Fizz, stable connection, very few problems, as iy was mentioned above, the infrastructure is Videotron. 30 Mbs is fine for regular use, higher speed if more than one person streams 4K or play games in your household. For WiFi, i suggest to connect the supplied modem with a router.

It looks like the cable that goes from the wall outlet to the back of the modem, or the plug that connect to the wall outlet! If this is the case, try to carefully cut the bent tip straighten the wire and re-connect.

If you have an old fizz SIM card fizz will email you to replace the old one, they will give you an URL to order a new one. it's free of charge and the new card arrives by Canada post a week or so after they confirm your order.

To have a better wifi reception it's recommended to get a router and put Fizz supplied modem in bridge mode, this modem doesn't get high marks for wifi connections. You can get a very good used router on eBay.ca

You can also try a different Browser, or reboot your computer. There is an issue with activating the new SIM cards.

The most accurate way to test your internet speed is to connect your PC directly to Fizz modem, and use Videotron Internet speed test. https://videotron.speedtestcustom.com/if you're using a router or VPN you'll see some speed drop. WIFI test are not very reliable in my experience.

Pierre, Refer to the above post, How many in your house will be using the internet? will you be watching T.V. and downloading large files at the same time? Start with with 30Mbps, if you see it's not enough then you can change it to higher speed, no stress.

It's a common problem, the courrier sticks the envelope on the front door, if you don't pick it up fast enough it gets stolen, do as Fling suggests. You can also buy one from Couche Tard.

Activate roaming on your phone, re-boot, you can try manually selecting networks available, should be either At&t or T Mobile.
