The original post from Fizz says SIM card emails will take place over "several weeks". That was NINE MONTHS ago.
I wonder why they even posted it.
So nine months later most of us are still waiting for VOLTE to roll out. I'm down to about five weeks before my trip to USA and still no idea if either myself or my partner will have phone/text even though we are switching to Canada/USA plan.
This is not a good rollout, in my humble opinion.

Sorry to read you're having bad luck. In my case they sent me the invitation to switch to the new SIM card "too early" - I was away on vacation, and by the time I returned the invite had expired 😅 but the customer support fixed it.

I guess any number of years are also several weeks or dozens or hundreds of weeks.
Generally something isn't expressed in "weeks" if it's going to be multiple months or a year

Well it depends! Think about financing.. you usually say 36 or 48 months instead of 3 or 4 years.

Yay! My wife just got notice (via text and email) that her account with the new Pixel 7 has been migrated to VoLTE. At least one of us will have phone and text in USA. We restarted her phone and it actually works on LTE for calls, yay!
I have been a FIZZ customer a number of months longer than her however my phone, a Samsung S10e, is older and still not on the FIZZ VoLTE-certified phone list. The list appears to have a recent update but not my phone.
I'm hoping they get mine done in the next four weeks. Fingers crossed! 🤞

Ahahahah! I have a pixel 4xl and neither mine is on volte certified phones! Let's hope they will add them soon!

"Pixel" are very standard phones from Google so I have good hopes they'll be.

Let's see! My fingers are crossed since Videotron shows it in its list of volte compatible phone. However, it's becoming a bit old.. Pixel 8 is coming out...

If this can help...
If you know someone who has a Videotron phone account, you can always try the Videotron Sim card in the 4XL phone to see if it works. My girlfriend has a LG K61 phone and it's VoLTE with Videotron even if it's not on any VoLTE list.

Im on Volte and works great. Tested in US too. Great job Fizz ! Love it ! My 50 Gb plan US+Canada is absolutely fantastic !

Got the e-mail about being migrated, but no luck so far. According to Fizz support I basically need to hope that they add my Pixel 4a to the certified list. Considering that Fizz sold this phone at one point and it's certified with Videotron, you'd hope but apparently that doesn't mean much.
