Having a warning would be great!

New member.
Impressive mobile network speed.
195 Mbps download.
43 Mbps upload.
Be careful because I chewed up 420MB of data doing the ookla speed test.0 -
Quicker resolution of open tickets escalated to "specialized team".
0 -
Yeah testing the speed uses up your data quite quickly

Fizz is NVMO, therefore, it is sending the signal with the same tower only with a different name
0 -
That's good to hear that your experience is positive with Fizz!
0 -
For now Fizz is using an infrastructure from competitors and it has 7 years to build his own.
0 -
It's gonna take some time I believe, right?

Hy guys am new here0

You are quite a bunch indeed!

Agree with everything everyone is saying0

Technical support for me. And maybe future upgrades?0

I think having designated customer service for each province in Canada could help a lot. Since reps would know the plans in their province really well instead of spending more time trying to find a colleague to ask questions to. Also, I want home internet in British Columbia!!0

I just joined the the forum to leave a feature request. Fizz visual voicemail works well with the native iPhone phone app. But on Android we have to use a Fizz app that basically never works and has terrible reviews. Please just pull it from the app store and allow visual voicemail to work with the stock Android phone app. That is how it worked on Freedom Mobile before I switched over. Happy visual voicemail is included without the need for an add-on at Fizz but would be great if it actually worked.0

I think the Internet plans below 400 Mbps should be improved, either in speed, price or both!

Hello everyone!))0

Hi. Welcome to the forum

Welcome to Fizz!!! 🤗

we need more phones certified by Fizz to use VoLTE, for example OnePlus models, thanks!
1 -
If that model is VOLTE capable it may work on the Fizz network.
Go into the phone network settings and set the preferred networks to 4G LTE.

I am an online teacher trying to get my modem to work. The chat bot has been a disaster! a technician went to my old address to help, called me and when I told him he was at the wrong address, he hung upon me! FIZZ's only solution is for me to apply again for a modem, which they sent me, and chose technicol support and pay the 69$ installation fee, even though the problem is related to my previous FIZZ modem. The world is truly Kafesque.0
-
The technician was probably a Videotron contractor who was given the wrong information.
Unfortunately since Fizz does not do the installation themselves it adds another layer of possible miscommunication.

That’s what I am thinking. Such a thing happened to me with an internet provider that did have a “physical” customer service. Let’s imagine how it could work with an internet-only provider…

It's hard enough to coordinate between departments of 1 company. When you involve other parties it increases the odds of a mishap.

I have recently upgraded my speed to 400/50, and it's really good so far. I'm excited to see the TV offering.
0 -
With 400/50 you should be good to go 😀.

That's right! As a matter of fact, we read all your words with the utmost attention. Thank you for taking the time to respond to this discussion!

That's great news! We'll pass the message on to our crews!

Hi @Tilcor, we're glad to count you in the Fizz community!

Yes, a big welcome to Fizz 🤩!

Thanks for listening.

Hopefully with the new CRTC ruling we will see Fizz offering internet services to the rest of the country.
Sick of getting fleeced by the big 3 on internet bills.

Not sure why my comment disappeared the first time but hopefully we'll get to see Fizz expand their internet offering to Ontario so there is more competition for better pricing.

tech support, tips and tricks of how to use Fizz to benefit the most from an insider
1 -
Fizz is fun but somethings are tricky to navigate even for me who I think is very tech savvy…

Some clear explanations on how to earn the badges should be pop up when we click on them so it's more user friendly for newcomers

More competition is always good for the customers.
0 -
Thats good1
-
But not so good for the corporations .
0 -
Yes and no, short term it will hurt profits, but long term competitive pressures force innovations and makes corporations stronger (or dead if they don't innovate)
0 -
I agree about the innovation.
Hopefully not too many end up dead as it would reduce competition.

Eagerly waiting for news on the expansion of the phone shop to the rest of the country.

Hello, could we please get an update on the situation where people are stuck on Fizz EXT?0

Public Mobile refugee here, keep up the good work!0

Hey, so am I.
Things are much better here.

Still can't believe things went south so fast over there, the grass is much greener here I think!0 -
Yeah. I had problems roaming while in the states.
Then they wouldn't let you change to the newer better deal plans which were for new users only.
They also changed the rewards which turned off a lot of users.
