It would be great to be able to gift and receive data even though you don't have any included in your plan... I currently have 1 gb of data through upgrades but I cannot gift any and it keeps rolling over since I never use all of it

So happy to be part of the fizz family.
2 -
it is great indeed!!!

1) An app
2) Send data to an account with no data plan
1 -
I fully agree with you on both points and I would probably add in order of priority:
3) VoLTE for non certified but compatible older phones
4) VoWiFi
5) eSIM (non that urgent tho)

Is there a better way to gift data?
A simple button named "gift more" or something like that after the gift data confirmation page would be nice!
And also, you could simplify the data gifting experience. Click on "data gift", a page the following info opens:
- radio button: "I know the person" and "I don't know the person"
- code
- data amount
- send button
Display popup confirming the data was sent with two buttons: Return to fizz and Continue Gifting, that opens the page described above again.
I appreciate if my idea is taken into consideration.
Thanks!

Hello @Bhizz,
Could you please confirm that our comments are being taken into account? We haven't seen any news from you for a long time.

It would be great to have a mobile app!
1 -
They would loose too much money if they did so
1 -
Call over WiFi would be great :)
0 -
Some mobile provider do that tho...
1 -
I agree!!!
1 -
You are right Andrei... we didn't get any feedback about the suggestions... we would like to know what's taken into consideration
2 -
Not too many does, and i’d bet that their prices are more expensive than fizz is
1 -
1, 2, 4, 5, would be so great. In fact it would make fizz above all
1 -
Let's hope they are gonna listen to us then!
1 -
I agree with technical support
1 -
i wish! I guess this forum is here for a reason and they probably monitor it from time to time to get clues on what costumers would like.
1 -
With the amount of people requesting it... they should really do it in the next year :)
0 -
I really hope so... otherwise it didn't make any sense to open it in the first place
0 -
Right? But i have yet to see any major modifications that came from this forum

This actual thread has been created in May 2023, I reckon they have enough time to evaluate all the proposition... maybe the thing they required users to test is about something suggested right here... let's see
0 -
I agree with this.
0 -
They will come, otherwise the idea if creating it didn't make much sense
0 -
I have a feeling that the new part of the website that some users are testing came out of this thread...

So you can cast it as a good joke.1 -

Switch to 5G! Decrease the prices!0 -
You've got your priorities straight!

I would like to see long distance addons that don’t expire and just “rollover” until you used them all up, ie credits. Also would like to see the prepaid long distance rate equal the pay as you go rate. Can we better than the other guys in this aspect?
I find it funny that other providers have a preferred rate add on just so you can access better rates.0 -
I live in Toronto and I feel like the LTE speed is not that good :< btw, could we pls have the Fizz mobile app? How about the ability to easily purchase Fizz sim card in Circle K stores in Toronto? I have to wait for more than 2 weeks for sim card delivery.0
-
I would like to see the following improvements:
1) wifi calling
2) esim
3) long distance addons that don’t expire I.e you buy minutes and they “rollover”
4) just have one long distance rate per country regardless if it is part of an add on or pay as you go. I don’t understand why other providers charge a ‘preferred rate’ option
5) additional countries that you can roam on as an option
6) mobile app
7) province only options (ie Ontario, Quebec)
8) a discount for additional lines added to a single account ie family discount
9) more coverage
10) if we use freedom towers avoid connecting to 3G on freedom they are not useable for data
11) maybe a walkietalkie feature like back in the solo mobile days
12) ability to purchase SIM cards outside Quebec1 -
Fizz just started expanding… I think we are gonna get the things you mentioned at some point… right now you can buy sim card in Montreal through vending machines and couche tard so I believe they will introduce something similar for Toronto too

The forum is weirdly accessible from your account.0
-
That is actually a good point… there's no direct access to the forum from your account page… weird

Yes indeed, an app would be great, but where can we talk about it to them

This is what this thread has been created for!

My service will be installed next week.
I am a techy and am concerned about the reliability of the service and obtaining proper support. After reading many threads, it seems to me that the sever problems are usually a result of the old cable infrastructure being down. If this is true, then Fizz typically has nothing to do with extended outages, its more of a Videotron problem.
Little to no support is a problem. I would hate to have an issue and feel like I cant depend on the service provider for help.
I will try Fizz out and I hope for the best. The price and expected bandwidth are great, I hope it all works out.
Do you guys agree that infrastructure is the largest issue with Fizz during extended outages?0 -
I'll add my comment on the english side just to make sure it's seen. It would be great to get referal bonus attached to our account instead of our service (internet or phone plan) this way if we move somewhere that internet is not available and keep our phone we don't loose everything. Thankyou
1 -
I'm with Fizz by barely a month so I cannot give you any feedback on the reliability. The infrastructure is Videotron's though, so even though the customer support is not top notch, the outages are not really Fizz's fault
0 -
This is a very good idea actually… like, how it should have been from the start probably…
0 -
''Do you guys agree that infrastructure is the largest issue with Fizz during extended outages?''
Not at Montreal. Perfect for me…

Where and how best to access tech support. It's lacking!0
-
Yeah tech support can be lacking sometimes

I just had a very positive customer service chat with Gabriel. Answered the chat within a minute. Successful resolution of my concern within two or three minutes.
Kudos to Gabriel. I've made an entry in my "Good things jar".0 -
a little suggestion is to send some sort of notification if the price on your plan is now available for cheaper. I just logged on to fizz for the first time in months and curiously went to “manage plan” and when I chose “change my plan” it asked me if I wanted to switch to the current price of my plan - which was 2$ cheaper per month. This was both for my internet and phone plans. That’s 5$ per month plus tax! Obviously I changed both! I wonder how many months ago I could have done this…?
not a complaint, but a suggestion to make us happy as customers. I’ve been a loyal fizz customer for 5 years!!!0 -
i totally agree with you, i guess they don’t do it so that they don’t lose money
