SIM cards: online and at partner stores.
Fizz is an all-digital brand so being able to order a SIM card online is a must.
And if you would like to buy and activate your SIM card the same day, know that our SIM cards are also available at participating stores throughout the country.
Here are our partners:
In Quebec --> Couche Tard, Jean Coutu and Mobile Expert stores. Fizz SIM card vending machines can also be found in 14 Montreal metro stations.
In Ontario --> coming soon
Alberta and British Columbia --> Find us at Circle K.

Way better with the map! Thank you!

Yes, eSIM will be more convenient
7 -
They will come… I'm sure of it

For what? If we can easily get the sim card?
2 -
At least, I don't need to put the SIM card inside my phone physically if I switch to my another one
3 -
I don't see this as a difficult step jiyingss . But ok!
2 -
It could be useful to use two different sim at the same time... A lot of dual sim telephone have only a physical slot while the other must be esim
2 -
Very good point, agreed! Like me, I've got two SIMs from two different companies, but only can put one in my iPhone slot. I could use both lines at the same time with the eSIM
3 -
Yes it's true FizzyFizz.
2 -
Do you have any plans to support e-sim?1
-
No, not yet. Sorry…
2 -
There hasn't been any official communication on that by Fizz yet

I love the SIM distribution machines in the Montreal subway.

Do they work well?
1 -
I heard they do!
1 -
Cool! Glad to hear that!

Thank you Fizz for keeping us posted!

Any new place to get discount SIMs? Looking to get one for my brother.
1 -
I ordered one sim online and went to pickup a sim from Circle K in Edmonton. It took me 3 different locations before I finally found one that had them, though they had no clue what they were!0
-
Fizz street team was giving away a green gummy bear with a green package while I went to a Jays games. Didn't realize what it was till I got home. It included a free sim. Reviewed the packages and signed up. Now I need 7 more Sims for the family and cant find them. Web site wants me to pay $15 per sim. Fizz admin, do you know where your street team is? Or will be? You have 7 potential new adds!0
-
Looking for discounted SIM cards. $15 is too expensive when when other companies are giving away their cards

esim comes with caveats, often inconvenient : your mobile device is permanently locked with the provider.
some inconvenience : your phone is broken (you accidently dropped it in a swimming pool, battery damaged because you left it hours in your car in a hot summer, or you pet plays with it and smashed it badly…) there is no way to "remove" the sim card and temporary insert it into a another phone.
however if you go overseas for vacation, you could get a local sim card and insert it in case you only have a sigle sim slot.

Yhanks for sharing!!!

Not really a fan of eSIMs either. I understand they’re convenient, but one bad luck and you’re in deep trouble.
Considering Fizz SIM cards are available at Couche-Tard and Jean Coutu locations, you won’t have to travel very far to get one immediately. On the other hand, if you order it online, it should arrive in 2-3 business days, so you don’t have to wait too long…

Some good info here..thx

I cannot find a way to get a hold of anyone so I'm writing this here. When I type my phone number in to transfer it, I get the message "This phone number cannot be transferred. You’ll need to get a new number." This is when I type in my phone number 780 XXX XXXX. However when I type a different phone number 780 XXX XXXX it works like a charm. I am trying to migrate from koodo to fizz and both these numbers are under the same koodo plan.

Very good info for sharing, thanks a lot, have a wonderful day 😊

Looking forward to esim as buying a physical sim card isn't as easy in Ontario.0
-
With the expansion, as demand increases, I'm sure they will be available at some Ontario retailers soon 🤞.

Any Ontario news?0

How is it possible that sim cards are all sold out?? Does customer service (chat) exist? Been on hold for almost 2 hours. What a terrible first impression!!0
-
What a joke. Said something negative so they wouldn't post my comment.0

There isn't any for in-store but there is currently an ongoing promotion for sim cards for $5

I tried to buy a SIM card from a Couche Tard location today at Gare Central, shown on the point of sale map only to be told by the person behind the counter, "Sorry, we don't sell them".0
-
My friend also faced similar situation
0 -
The sim card is 5$ when buying on Fizz website. It is 15$ in store.
0 -
You can try in Jean-Coutu, Metro (STM) in Côte-des-Neiges I can confirm, but I'm sure there is some Jean-Coutu, Couche-Tard, or other Metro's station that sells them near where you are in downtown Gare Central.

Yeah exactly! Shipping time is fast too. I've heard about 2 days to ship on average. Very efficient.
0 -
Yeah, its delivery timeline is very fast. I ordered 1 sim for my friend which also got delivered in 2 days. But the delivery man was strange because he glued the SIM card package outside the main door.
1 -
Yeah that's pretty fast and efficient.
Lol probably the only few who are strange but atleast the package was delivered pretty fast and safe.
