And this little rebate will become even more precious for many of us in a few months when regular prices kick in

One little thing changed Fling. Users now get 500mb on level 1

That is true, fizz is still in its early years. Comments and support for ideas such as yours might make the company adjust their bonus. Nevertheless, I think that the bonus system is deliberately long to get customers hooked on the forum and thus offer a seudo-customer service without having to hire more employees.

Very interesting. Does the issue coincide with high traffic hours ? Since fizz is not a fiber provider, their speed varies quite a lot depending on the time of the day. However that does not explain the VPN results

It’s true that the leaderboard status has no real value. But I understand how Sometimes it can become a bit obsessive-triggering to see potential levels and not be able to get them quickly

Try removing and putting back you SIM card. Turning off the phone in within

Some times that famous chat bubble on the support page can be quite evasive. Keep on checking and eventually it will show up. Once you get in touch with them, they can reste your account quite easily. It seems to be a fairly common thing

Very interesting. Since fizz is a company where the user must do most things on his own, you would expect the modem/router to be as solid as possible. Hopefully by talking about these issues on the forum, fizz will pick-up on it and make some adjustments

J’aime bien ton optimisme concernant le remboursement. Fais nous signe si jamais ils l’accordent.

Yes such thing is included, but it’s true that it’s not always the case with other carriers

It might even be an intentional glitch. It allows for more than one person to get rewarded for interesting answers. As long as we don’t abuse it, it might be just okay
-
I hope it gets solved soon.
-
And on top of that, it seems that their own website is struggling to activate people who want to activate before the 15th
-
Sorry to hear that, fizz really needs to streamline this process if they want to give off the vibe that the stabilisation period is over
-
Did it work?
-
Let us know if that works
-
Is this a new activation, or a line that has already worked in the past?
-
True, But even better, I think at the revamp they made a small change for new customers. Now they get 500 mb bonus at sign up. Instead of 250mbs.
-
Did you port in a number from another company. On some rare occasions there might be glitches for the first 24 hours and then the problem is supposed to sort of go away.
-
Ale, i feel for you, bit there isn’t much that a user community can do for you in this case. You got to go through the official chat.

Yup, that is the simple way

Those are all very valid points. I’m glad to see that we are all on the same wavelength.

It’s as stable as coaxial internet can be. It therefore has a lot of limitations. Speeds will drop significantly during high trafic hours. The only way to avoid this issue would be by contacting a service provider that uses fiber optics. Among them I think the cheapest is virgin. But that is a personal choice.
