Should I leave Fizz?

I have been with Fizz since early 2018. I have enjoyed the cheapest network until now, I got a email telling me that the great deal Fizz offers us ends on October 16th.
I will be leaving Canada for 6-9 months on October 23rd.
Last time I left I just reduce my account costs to 7.20$ (the base price with nothing on it).
I did this because I wanted the cheap price when I returned. And it worked.
But now knowing that the good deal will be gone when I return, it seems pointless to pay 7.20$ for nothing if I wont even get a good deal when I come back.
With all this in mind. Should I just leave fizz and sign up again when I'm back?

7.20 * 6 = 43.2 + tx
7.20 * 9 = 64.8 + tx
.
According to https://fizz.ca/en/node/2686 there might be a possibility to change your plan eventually without loosing the current price
.
"Does that mean that I’ll never have the opportunity to make changes to my mobile plan?
We are currently working on a solution to offer you greater flexibility, and allow you to experience Fizz to its full potential. We’ll get back to you on that early in the new year.
"
There is a risk of loosing 65$ and get nothing but also a chance to keep your current price when you'll come back and Fizz would offer a way to change your plan back14 -
With other providers I was able to put my account on hold. Maybe you could contact Fizz and see if you are able to put your account on hold for the time you are gone. This could potentially keep your current pricing.14

Before making your final decision, you can chat with Fizz support.
Let them know the delimma/situation and see if they have offer suggestions to offer.

Fizz might have a special promo that won't make you leave. Try contacting Fizz support.15

I think you should look at more than 6 to 9 months. Because if you cancel and get back after 9 months, you will have to start back to 0 without all the bonus Fizz give to you. Those bonus might by themselves justify enough to pay 65$ for nothing, and keeping where you are with your current level.9

Definitely contact support to see if you can put your account on hold. You have nothing to lose by asking.10

If this is the last time you plan on leaving Canada, it might be worth it to equate the value of the savings compared to the financial sacrifice that it demands.
Let’s say, if you wanted to keep your current plan and pay the full amount while you are gone (sacrifice). VS the money would eventually save after some time with the same plan that you currently have (investment value long term)7 -
Apart the price issue keep in mind that you will lose your number if you cancel your account without porting your number to another provider.5

Port your number somewhere where you can put on hold (VoIP?) since if you reduce the price, when you will be back you will have a normal price.7

Yup, that is the simple way4
