Internet slowdown issues

After disabling the WiFi from the modem and using my own router, the internet seems to be stable for now. Almost cancelled my internet service because of this modem though.

It seems that the modem need some tuning, for the band used with the wifi, the ATF and band steering8

The modem firmware seems not to work properly while having wifi on. Someone suggested that it is because the firmware installed is a beta version. After turning of the wifi and connecting my router...i have much more stable internet.8

Very interesting. Since fizz is a company where the user must do most things on his own, you would expect the modem/router to be as solid as possible. Hopefully by talking about these issues on the forum, fizz will pick-up on it and make some adjustments9

Hopefully...must be an easy fix with a new firmware. Or may be we are guinea pigs for beta firmware testing.
