Hello

I have tried every cellular provider out there but always keep coming back to fizz.
I got the $5 base plan over an year ago as a backup sim, I have transitioned to using it as my primary sim along with fongo and voip.ms for calling. It has given me better value than any other plan out there. I used to have freedom's $20 3GB postpaid plan with 100 minutes of outgoing calling. I also tried the public mobile $20 60GB plan that was available briefly earlier this year. Between constant data throttling with public mobile and poor reception due to Telus ripping out Huawei radios I had enough.
Fizz is honestly the best provider available at this time in Canada.
I have always dreamed of being able to customize my plan to remove services I never use like SMS or ones I would rather supply myself like voicemail. Being able to manage it entirely from my computer without waiting on hold and being transferred back and forth between people that barely understand what I am asking about has been a breath of fresh air. And to all the providers and websites that shove their mobile applications down everyone's throats. Screw you. Thank you fizz for not doing that.
I wish everything including internet service, banking, insurance, and more could be ordered and managed the same way cellular service is offered by fizz.
I actively monitor CRTC public proceedings and voice my opinions. Sadly the CRTC isn't doing enough to improve telecommunications in Canada. The TPIA rates for fiber to the premises are still a joke. On the cable side, Rogers is still taking their sweet time with docsis 4 rollouts. I has been almost two years since docsis 4 trials started in Calgary.
Hopefully fizz can offer competitive internet service in western Canada soon. For people in the eastern parts with fizz internet, how is the service like? I have read mixed reviews on reddit. Some people had horrible experiences and others are very happy.
