How do I remove a phone number from my fizz account?

So I just opened my fizz account after months as my data just stopped working. Then I found out that someone from Quebec has sort of took over or hacked my fizz account, then added their own phone in a new plan linked to my visa card and account. So for the past 6 months I was paying $30 for a stranger's mobile plan. I never noticed it because I didn't think this would happen. I never had to open my fizz account and check things because everything was going on smooth. I have blocked their plan from my account, unsubscribed their plan as well, however, I will still have to pay for their plan for this month. I tried to reach out to support but there is no support at all. I felt so lost and had to deal with it myself for 4 hours.

If there is any support for fizz subscribers, please reach out to me and help me out!!

To remove a phone number from your Fizz account, you must either cancel the mobile plan entirely or replace the existing number with a new one.

Log in to your account and go to My Plans.
If you have multiple plans, locate the one you want to modify.
Click Manage and choose Change phone number.
Select the option to Get a new number and choose an available number from the list.

@Whizz this is why MFA should be implemented for our accounts. We are in 2026 you are "still working on it".

    Hello billo_03,

I'm sorry to hear about the situation you've encountered.

I have reviewed your account and can confirm that you were able to contact us through chat. I can also see that you successfully changed your password. Before the chat ended, your remaining request was to update the email address associated with your Fizz account. Also the plan was canceled as well.

When you are available again, please contact us via chat, and we will be happy to assist you with changing the email address as well.

In the meantime, I strongly recommend securing your email account, especially if you suspect it may have been compromised. If someone has gained access to your email, other accounts linked to that email address could also be at risk.

For added security, consider the following best practices:

    • Use a unique password for each of your accounts.
    • Avoid reusing the same password as your email account password.
    • Change your passwords regularly.

If you need any further assistance, please don't hesitate to reach out to us. You can message this account if you need help from an admin.

I wish you a great day!
