when I press 1 there's a message cannot connect

I do have voicemail yet cannot connect to it.

    Hi!
    If you have voicemail but pressing 1 gives you “cannot connect”, try this:
    1️⃣ Check in your Fizz account to make sure voicemail is activated.
    2️⃣ Restart your phone and toggle Airplane mode on/off.
    3️⃣ Call your own number and let it ring until voicemail answers.
    4️⃣ Make sure the voicemail number in your phone settings is +1 514‑647‑0999.
    5️⃣ If it still doesn’t work, contact Fizz via the chat — they can reset your profile.

    Thanks for sharing and we're sorry to learn about this situation.

    Try to manually select Fizz on your phone as the main network, then try to manually access your voicemail by dialing 1-514-647-0999.

    On Android

    1. Open Settings.
    2. Tap Connections (or Network & Internet).
    3. Select Mobile Networks.
    4. Tap Network Operators or Carriers.
    5. Toggle off Select Automatically.
    6. Wait for your phone to scan, then tap your network carrier from the list to connect.

    On iPhone

    1. Open Settings.
    2. Tap Cellular or Mobile Data.
    3. Tap Network Selection.
    4. Toggle off the Automatic option.
    5. Wait for the list of available networks to load, then select your preferred network

    Consider changing the PIN as well just in case.

    To customize or reset your PIN:

    Follow the instructions in your voicemail or do it from your Fizz account under My Plans > Manage My Plan > Advanced Parameters > PIN to Access Your Voicemail..
