2FA for Fizz account

Hello,
I'm aware that this [has been discussed](https://forum.fizz.ca/en/discussion/2653151) in the past.
Still almost a year later, it's still not possible to protect Fizz accounts with 2FA.

@Whizz's recommendation then was "At this moment, the best way to protect your account is to use a strong, unique password and keep your login details private." Still, if my email account gets compromised and the attacker sees *any* Fizz email there, they have everything they need to take over the account - they only need the email address and to initiate Fizz's password reset procedure. It doesn't matter if I use a strong password on my Fizz account.

I'm new here, and I like what I see - but not this.

I understand that Fizz policy "we don't talk about features being developed". So I don't expect any official feedback. But to every Fizz customer reading this: this is your opportunity to say that you consider security important and that you'd like this change too.

    I think it makes sense to add this layer of security. Fizz already has a feature where you can remotely turn off your service if your SIM card is stolen, so why can't they add an option to use two-factor authentication?

    I agree this would be a nice optional feature for those who want it.

    Although 2FA does strengthen accounts it is vulnerable to phishing and sim swapping.
    The stronger security option is the use of passkeys which use the biometrics on your phone. Admittedly not all phones are capable of using passkeys (non smart phones), however, if Fizz is going to upgrade their security, they should upgrade to passkeys and not 2FA.

    Currently, Fizz does not offer two-factor or multi-factor authentication for customer accounts. This means that access to your account only requires your email address and password.

    For now, the best way to keep your account secure is to use a strong and unique password, and never share your login credentials with anyone.

    If two-factor authentication becomes available in the future, updates will be posted on the official Fizz website at Fizz.ca.
