I did this (held the power and up volume button) twice already and it didn't help. :(

Are you able to make calls?
Have you tried removing your SIM card and then reinserting it?
If that doesn't work, you can try resetting your phone's network settings.

If you are using an Android double check if the APN is well configured,
You can also think to reset the network settings, however, you must know that this will erase all the wifi and bluetooth configuration
