yes, it requires little improvement.

We are still waiting for 5G.
1 -
5G will be real nice for FIZZ ⚡️
0 -
I rater have more competition and better price In the real world an internet connection with 3gbps is overpower you could have 120 device running 4k videos You also wouldn't profite of the full potiential of the 3 gbps because of bottleneck from your hardware or from outside Netflix or else wont let you download something at 3gbps to reduce the load on their servers

5G would be nice but Canada just doesn't have the infrastructure investment to make it work. At least not yet.
5G is more of a advertising gimmick so far.
1 -
Yeah totally agree with you!

Thank you for sharing with us!

At least with mobility, cell towers shouldn't be too costly to set up unless the neighbours don't like the look of a cell tower in their vicinity.
0 -
This doesn't surprise me. There's no investment into the larger infrastructure of our data networks.
0 -
How can you be so sure on this info? 😊

Yeah man I agree with you 💯 4G has the best coverage / ratio speed comparedto 5G, it's a hit or you lose everythingt to almost none speed... 4G will always stay between 100 mbps to even 150 mbps but the 5G can only go up to 250 mbps in few areas and on low coverage areas, the 5G will roughly get 25 mbps which is worse than the 4G, the 4G with full strength speed and coverage is overall better for now until the 5G is completely mastered and that coverage is at full strength everywhere...

4G has the best coverage
5G is great if we had density like the island nations of Japan or Korea, but Canada is just too large to be advertising 5G as a selling point
Even if Fizz offers 5G is just won't be good enough. Canada is too large to effectively utilize 5G infrastructure outside of population dense big cities like downtown core
1 -
Yeah well said! I totally agree with you and those are the reasons why 4G will be the best option overall for awhile here in CANADA. 150 mbps is plenty enough to run apps and such with data while being out when you don't have Wi-Fi around

Thank you so much for the informations!

It's a big country what low density population1 -
We'll be just fine with that!
0 -
That's true. Also, do we really need 5G speed anyway. For most users, LTE is enough.
0 -
What we need more is Wi-Fi calling.
But I'm not sure how badly we need it.
Fizz allows you to be on EXT whereas Freedom does not (while within primary Freedom/Fizz tower zone).
But Freedom has Wi-Fi calling. Tough call.
2 -
I agree with you on this.
1 -
With Wi-Fi calling it's perfect!
0 -
Don't be so sad.
Thought we have slower speed, we have higher price!
1 -
Prices are becoming more reasonable nowadays
0 -
Also the fact that most of it isnt 5g standalone
0 -
Could be better quality of service problems in some areas.
0 -
Yes totally, some place could benefits from moe cell towers
0 -
Canada is large and many villages are located. We are actually not many to pay for such a large infrastructure as 5G.
0 -
That does make sense. I think it's a valid point
0 -
Yes, so true
0 -
I cannot agree more. Competition is the key in terms of advancement
1 -
Yea I totally agree, its a slow and expensive process Canada is huge with not much people in it
0 -
Couldn't agree more than this statement!
0 -
Agree, competition is good!
0 -
I feel other countries actually invest in it.
0 -
Yes I couldn't agree more we need more competition!
0 -
Yeah they do alot more than us!
0 -
it's sad to see… I sometimes feel like moving, tbh
1 -
Yes and they also have better prices.
0 -
Where do you see like moving 🙂
0 -
LOL France mobile plan data 😳😳😳
0 -
Yea haha There's a compagnie that sells data plans for like 200gb and will only charge you the ammount you use on that 200gb I find it nice!
0 -
It's not the same everywhere and neither is the price.
0 -
Surely not, every place is different. Canada is realy big and its expensive to have coverage everywhere. In comparison Taiwan its realy cheap since its an iland with alot of population!
0 -
Many people in a restricted territory.
0 -
Pretty nice, hope that is cheap enough per GB lol or else that wouldn't be worth it hahaha
0 -
Accurate statement!
0 -
Yeah exactly, I guess we are okay with our situations and prices for the big country we are with less population
0 -
Yes but I think its capped like exemple its 30$ for the 200gb plan but the less you use the less expensive it is.
1 -
Yes, we doesnt have much choice beside moving!
1 -
Wow bet that's awesome, would totally take it and use what I can and maybe my bill will be around $10 or $15s
0 -
Yeah exactly just for $10-15 more a month loool, moving is questionable
