Hello @Al R.,
I am sorry for the situation encountered,
In regards to the issue reported, we have added a perk to your account with a 6$ discount to compensate for the loss if the add-on.
This perk was added to all the clients that lost the add-on after the latest update.
Make your way into your Fizz account> My Benefizz> My rewards> scroll down to My Perks> click on the perk and use it for your mobile plan.
The perk expires in 3 days.
This information was available in the same email that you have received.

There will surely be compensation because it affects a lot of people. Fizz must respect his contracts.

I thought that only two people were affected
This is a bad move from Fizz, sorry to say

I don't understand, "zone changes" sounds so vague. Does anyone know what's going on and why this is happening?

Hello zipilgrim,
It is probably a reorganization that brings about this change.

Hi
I am in the same situation. The worst part is that I paid for the service two weeks ago. Fizz should/must provide me with the service until the end of my billing cycle. Instead, they decided to remove it and only offered a $6 credit to purchase an add-on.
If the service zone has changed, why don't they make the change automatically? Why don't they inform me 30 days in advance?
This situation is similar to when they removed the 40GB option. When they removed it, people who had this offer were allowed to continue using it until the end of their billing cycle and for the following and the same price. They did not remove the 40GB option in the middle of the billing cycle and ask users to add it back at the same price while losing the data for the rest of the billing cycle. In that scenario, they would provide a $6 credit to buy a hypothetical 2GB add-on.

Hello Irene,
This is probably a mistake. As mentioned, this way of doing things was not like this before.
