Is anyone else experiencing problems w the services since the power has been restored?

Also, you know that you have a connection when the @ light on the modem is lit up and stable, if after a restart that will not be lit up and green, then I advise you to reach out to us to investigate.
To restart the modem, you can disconnect the power cable from the back, wait for 30 seconds then plug it back in.

Please take into consideration that the cable repair takes time, not all the problems are the same.
The customer service agents are overwhelmed with all the requests. In order to repair the cable, sometime they need the power to discover that the cable in broken somewhere else.
Since the cable is videotron property, is videotron that must repair it.
Moreover, if you know some of your neighbour with videotron you will see that they have the same problem of you.

My home Internet is not stable as well. It connects for couple of hours and disconnects again.
Taking into consideration the current situation after the freezing rain, is understandable and need to be patient. A lot of other people still have no electricity not talking about Internet.

Have you tried turning your phone off for a few seconds and then back on? That worked for me!

Power restored after nearly 48hrs, but second led on the modem keeps blinking and no internet connection. The chat bot told me theres no issue in my sector, but i dont know if i should believe it lol.

Still no Internet at my place, it appeared for several hours and disconnected again.

Try resetting and then reconnect the modem ... After give it some time to connect to the nodes

It happened to me too. Since last night, when the power got back, the internet was very unstable. I tried to turn off my phone, I tried to turn off the moderm and turn on 3times but it did not work. Maybe we need to wait!

Start with this simple solution that often solves the problem.
Try a reset, will refresh the connection between the modem and the nodes.
Unplug the power cable on your Wi-Fi modem.
Make sure all the lights on the modem are off once you have unplugged it.
Wait a few minutes.
Plug your modem back into the electrical outlet. Expect a three (3) minute delay to allow your devices to reconnect to the Wi-Fi network.
If you still have the problem contact Fizz support for help.
Chatting is the only fast and efficient method because you interact directly with customer service.

I’m sorry @Davood , I thought you had a mobile plan with Fizz. If you are with Videotron, you cannot receive data from Fizz users. Maybe you should switch to Fizz!! It’s like Videotron, only much cheaper and with a lot of perks and advantages (like asking other members to give you data…)
