internet
Hi,
My internet got deactivated. I had moved last year and made the necessary changes of address and everything was fine until a few months ago.
Long story short I logged a ticket, took time to resolve.
Was told by a Rep in chat that I need to create a new plan. Was setting it up and asked me when do I want a technician to deliver and install the modem. Problem is I already have the modem. All I need is to choose a new plan, attach a payment method and should be ready to go.
Is there a way to skip the tech coming over with another modem since I already have one?
Thank you

There is auto installation steps: How do I set up my Wi-Fi modem? | Fizz
Easy Self-installation
Your subscription includes self-installation, and you’ll be pleasantly surprised to see how easy it is. A technician will deliver your Fizz Wi-Fi modem and make sure your cable connection works properly. This type of visit usually lasts less than an hour, but it can also take longer. It all depends on the situation. Afterwards, just follow our simple but detailed instructions to install your modem and configure your network.
They will bring a new modem that is coded to your new plan.
Since your plan is bugged, the new modem coded to the new plan is necessary.
But you can simply ask for the dropoff and proceed to plug it in yourself.

There are steps to print a return label and mail it in, in case the tech does not take it.
