Has anyone ever had their data turned off when there is still data available?
As soon as I use up the gifted data, my cellular data is turned off.
I tried all of the suggestions from Fizz, still no data.

Do you have data in your plan?
I just saw that even if you don't have data in your plan, you should be able to use the updates... You should probably contact Fizz then!

Yes, I have a 1GB plan
I did contact Fizz who referred me to Tech Support who took way to long to reply (5 + days), so I added data and received gifted data,
I also upgraded to a 5Gb plan, but that is a problem as well.
My new billing cycle started on Sept 20, but I have no new data. 😏
none! Not even the 1gb and bonus data I usually get.

No luck with the chat group either. They just keep on updating my ‘ticket’
