How do I get my modem?
had scheduled an appointment for a technician to come but cancelled it when my friend said they would be able to help me install it. I understand that the technician still has to drop off the box and do a bunch of other crap but now how do I schedule for that? I thought I cancelled my plan but it's still there and it just says activation pending. HOW DO I ACTIVATE???

You make a mistake since the technician must come and verify the signal at least from outside and deliver the modem.
Therefore you need to pick an other appointment

While the installation is easy, there has to be a technician to come to the place (he delivers the modem!). Follow Mike's advice.
