can' access VM from abroad on the xxx-xxx xxxx number and VM pin change not working
I am in France with a Fizz data package. I am getting dozens of SMS notifications a day saying I have Fizz voicemails. When I call the 514 number from another phone (I cant make calls from a fizz number abroad) it locks my Fizz VM account after the first attempt at entering a pin. When I change the pin in advanced parameters and try again it does the same thing.
Is a hash # required after entering my fizz phone number and after entering the pin? I've tried both ways and it always blocks my account.
Also are the dozens of SMS notifications of a VM about one VM (repeatedly) or dozens of VMs ?(which would indicate someone is spamming my Fizz number). There is no way to see how many VMs are in the VM "box".
Any help gratefully received
Peter

Hi @PeterW ,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
In order to reset the access code for your Voicemail service, kindly go to My plans-> Manage plan-> Advanced parameters-> PIN to access your voicemail.
Please bear in mind that the code must consist of 4 different and non-consecutive numbers. More information on this can be found here: https://fizz.ca/en/faq/how-can-I-access-and-use-my-voicemail
Thank you very much for your understanding, patience and collaboration.
Have a good one!

@PeterW Are you using a VoIP system to access your VM since it can a DTMF problem?
If you are using a normal phone, it seems that there is some problem, and only Fizz support can help you out.
You can chat with them, they are open 24h, go on this page https://fizz.ca/en/faq/how-do-i-set-up-my-voicemail, click on the green bubble on the bottom right corner and click on chat
