Are you sure your phone is not sim lock ? Im not a Iphone user but why do you need a QR code ? QR code is not for esim only ?

About card reading issues: sometimes just reinserting the card can do wonders. Try it. Otherwise going in airplane mode and back could help too.

If the sim card dont work i think your phone is sim lock. Where do you but the phone ? From another provier ?

If its the cas contact the seller and ask for the unlock code. If its not unlock i dont no can you try the sim card in another phone to check if she is broken ?

Hmm, the phone usually doesn't ask for a qr code unless its an esim. The fact that it doesn't work on a different phone indicates to me that the simcard might be broken. Please contact Fizz support.
