Technician never came, then I received an email saying that I missed the technician, although I've been up since 7am waiting for him all day long at home? How it that possible?

Probably the tech has a problem with a previous installation.
To reschedule your technician appointment:
1- Log into your account and go to Manage plan.
2- Click on Appointments.
3- Here you will be able to see a complete list of all your past and future appointments.
4- Scroll to the appointment you wish to modify.
5- click on Reschedule.
This will open the booking interface. Select a new day and time slot and click Save.
Beware — if you just finished scheduling your appointment, please allow a 3-hour delay for the Reschedule button to appear in your account.

Unfortunately it can happen. You should reschedule another appointment.
Also chat with the support to let them know about your situation.11 -

Was your appointment scheduled this morning between 7am and 12pm? You only received the email now ?
Try to set up another appointment as soon as possible and also contact Fizz customer service to see how they can help with this.
To do so, log into your Fizz account.
Make your way to the Solution Hub.
On the help page pertaining to your issue, click on the chat bubble located in the lower right-hand corner.
The chat service is available every day from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. EST. The chat bubble won’t appear outside of these business hours.11 -
It is very unpleasant.! It happens when the technicien has installation that takes longer, they don't have time to do all their appointment and unfortunately they don't call to tell you.
You'll have to make another appointment. I would also contact Fizz on chat to tell them you are unhappy about the situation.8 -
That's unfortunate. You would need to schedule a new appointment. The technician might have had an issue and couldn't come.7

It happens sometimes that the technician is not able to respect his scheduled appointments.
You will be obliged today to fix and reschedule another appointment for your internet installation with a technician.
First, Log to your Fizz account.
Click on: My plan (internet)
Click on: Manage my plan
Click on: Appointments
Scroll the appointment you wish to modify.
Click on: Reschedule
Select a new day an hour for your installation and
click on: Saved2
