When my friend tries to apply my referral code, it says invalid. Has anyone else experienced this? What should you do?

Joé he must try with another browser or in incognito mode. Be careful with the letters and 1234...or reach fizz Chat with Fizz.
To chat without problem:
First, connect you to your fizz account.
Then contact them at: https://fizz.ca/en/faq/what-payment-methods-can-i-use
Wait a few seconds to see the green chat bubble down to the right of the page.
When you see it, click on it.
Your chat session begins with Fizz

Make sure your friend is using your code correctly. Copy / paste if you need to. Do you have any of those similar looking characters like 'O', '0', 'I', '1'?
In order for someone to use your referral code, you must be a customer with an active plan. Also your friend can use a referral code only when activating their first plan.11 -

Does your friend has tried to add first a new plan with your referral code?
The referral code can be applied only for the first new Fizz plan (mobile or Fizz residential internet).7 -

Hi. Because the referral works only the first time registration, sometimes in subscription process, if you stop and retake later or if you go back to previous pages, the system think that you already registered and now is maybe passing for a second subscription.9
