How long before gifted data is deducted from my plan?

I just gifted someone data maybe about half an hour ago but the data wasn't deducted from my plan. So I sent it again, and still the same. How long does it take normally? This is my first time gifting.

check the notification icon for the account page. likely there it will say there was some error.

Oh you guys are right. Even when I resent the data, I got another error. Why does that happen?

Unfortunately that I do not know. If it's someone you know, you will have to ask them to contact support to figure it out. It's something associated with their account that's causing it.
