Accessing upgrades / language preference / referral bonuses

Am I the only one who often has issues seeing available upgrades when accessing my account on my phone, but have no issues when I go through my desktop computer?

And also every time I log in I'm asked to choose my location and language preference. Anyone know how I can get that set once and for all?

And a friend 100% put in my referral code when signing up and they say she never did. She's now trying to get her Fizz account cancelled because she's had too many issues. And now her issue is she can't seem to get it cancelled. Oh my! I'd say maybe she didn't input my code correctly, but considering it took Fizz 7 months, 2 chat sessions and 1 complaint to apply the referral bonus from a different friend to my account, I'm tempted to believe the issue is on their end.

I guess I'm writing here mostly hoping a Fizz employee will see these issues and fix them. Going through the chat takes forever and it's often unhelpful. But if some of you have had similar experiences and have tips for me, I'm all ears!

    regarding thé mobile navigation sometime it behaves strangely

    regarding the referral code, probably your friend didn’t confirm clicking on the green button

    now they remove it and it is better done


    how come your friend is not able to cancel her account? It is supposed to be straight forward

    Yeah, I'm hoping they figure out the mobile navigation. I mostly check my account there...

    Aw, glad to know they've improved on the referral code! Hopefully they've improved on applying it too.

    I don't have all the details about my friend. Maybe I shouldn't have posted this without all the info. ;) She has been trying to get her plan changed without any luck, the plan change didn't apply in the next month and she's had to spend hours on chat with a representative to see what was wrong, and the issue is still unresolved. But maybe I should let her voice her disappointment herself...

    Regarding the behavior on the mobile devices: Indeed, leaves much to be desired 😕.

    Regarding the referral code: No idea to be honest.

    Regarding the plans changes: Fizz has admitted there were several issues in their system, so plans changes were cancelled automatically. Now everything should be fixed 🤞.

    The fact that you have to enter your preferences such as language and location every time to log in (and also that Fizz always signs me out even though I marked Keep me signed in) is very annoying. I had some problems with my badges recently, some badges I should have earned by now but still displayed in grey. I finally settled the problem by myself through the phone app instead of the desktop computer.

    I guess it`s better to go through the incognito site and use a different browser than Chrome.

    Thanks for all your input. I really want to love Fizz. I think they’ve created a great approach/concept for mobile phones. But it seems they can’t get their technology and customer service to a satisfactory level. I’m staying with them for now, hoping they figure it out, but I can’t say I’m as eager to refer them in my circle as I was at first.

    Yeah it happens sometimes, they should release an app that is well optimized for mobile use, not just a shortcut
