SIM VoLTE Activation problems : no data

I changed my sim card to the new VoLTE that I received by mail, proceeded with activation by following all steps : calls and text work, mobile data never worked.

I have checked APN settings, latest iOs installed, but never got the prompt to update carrier settings. I found a few posts and it seems like a few people experience the same issue, for example : https://forum.fizz.ca/en/discussion/2635579/sim-volte-activation-problems

Tried to get a hold of support through chat but was unable to reach anyone as my position in line was decreasing and increasing back, waited over 2h : infuriating, hence this new community post.

Please help! There seems to be something that needs to be done on your end (see linked post)
