Account id and account pin when porting Fizz phone number to other provider
Hi, I've tried every combo of account id, imei, 1234, etc as account pin when trying to port my current number from Fizz to another provider but I can't seem to do the right thing since I always get : Transfer StatusThe order needs attention before processing can continue. - Account number, PIN or Account information incorrect.
I know my IMEI 15 decimal and my Fizz account number 8 decimal but I don't have a PIN number. Also, tested with and without the accent I've got in my french name (special character : é).
Nothing works! Please help.

I am sorry to hear about this situation.
As our other members informed you, Fizz does not have a PIN for transferring your number.
You can either use the IMEI of the Fizz account number.

Sorry to see you leaving Fizz mobile.
Usually only 1 of the following is needed: Account number or IMEI.
Your Fizz account number can be found here - https://zone.fizz.ca/dce/customer-ui-prod/#/account/profile
If your name is needed, spell it exactly as written on your Fizz account. You may choose to copy/paste it.
Do know that your Fizz mobile plan must be active in order for the transfer to work.
- Enter your previous provider’s account number or your phone’s IMEI# in the field below.
- Find your account number on your bill.
- Dial *#06# on your phone to get your 15-digit IMEI number.Only the IMEI phone number used at your current provider will allow the transfer.
- If the number is more than 15 digits long, enter only the first 15 digits.
- Find your account number on your bill.
- A transfer authorization request will then be sent by text by your current provider to confirm your wish to transfer this number. This request must be answered by the set deadline.

As far as I can tell, Fizz does not have nor use an account PIN.
There's only the voicemail PIN which can be reset as per instructions here - https://fizz.ca/en/faq/how-do-i-set-up-my-voicemail#3
