Uh oh. Both of you should see the referral on your respective accounts with status pending.
Once the person you referred makes their second payment, your pending referral will be confirmed. In some cases, this happens just before their third payment.
When you have pending and confirmed referrals, you will receive an email confirmation from Fizz.
If neither parties have the referral, you will need to contact Fizz customer support.
Is it possible that your referral code contains easily mistaken numbers or letters such as "0", "O", "1" or "l"?
