I was talking about having access to only Fizz's site when you run out of data. It wouldn't take that much bandwidth to login to your account and buy an add-on.
-
Yes, both incoming and outgoing calls count. In fact, I remember a post complaining that people leaving a voicemail will count towards the minutes.
-
ES. Have you paid your third bill already?
-
You can buy the texting add-on which gives you 200 texts for $3. Or you can put money in your wallet and pay as you at $0.05 per text. Incoming texts are free.
-
Nick, you should be using your gifted data first. That's a bug.

What is the IOS on it? I know Iphone 8 comes with IOS 11 and you have to upgrade. Not sure about Iphone XR though. You can check by going to settings, general, software or software update. If it's IOS 12.1 then doing what M.H. suggested should do the trick.
-
Yes, you can adding voice and text. It will take effect next billing cycle. As for calling options, it looks like you can add voicemail without having voice.
-
You can enter the referral code when you buy the sim and when you activate it. I would think that the one you put in upon activation would take precedence. Make sure you enter the code, and click on the green button. And make sure a pop up come up saying you got the referral.

I am not sure if Fizz will work on an Iphone 5. You need IOS 12.1 and the oldest phone to get that update is Iphone 5s. There are reports of people finding a work around with IOS 11 on Reddit.

If you don't need unlimited calling or texting, you can purchase add-ons. You won't be able to see them until you have an active plan. You are allowed to add one of calling or texting add-on, but not both together. It's $3 for 60 minutes of voice or 200 text messages. I suggest you add unlimited text on your plan for $2…

Once applied, you have 30 days to use perks.
-
I don’t have a data plan and have data upgrades. I can’t see the usage either. I believe those with data and upgrades have the upgrade data added on to their meter. And it lasts for 90 days.
-
Upgrade data lasts for 90 days with no roll over. Plan data lasts for 30 days with 60 day rollover, so 90 days as well. So essentially, upgrade data lasts as long as plan data.

Hi V.C. Yes, I mentioned in my original post that I got the first email for when I joined Fizz. But nothing else.
-
I am on Facebook chat with Fizz right now. They are saying that once your friend pays their second bill, the referral bonus will be unlocked at the end of your current billing cycle.
-
You were told this on chat?
-
It's automated and random. Just try again.
-
Date has been extended. We don't know when it will be extended to yet, so you're good.
-
I don't mean the email you get when you friend signs up initially. I mean the email you get when they pay their second bill.
-
or cancel your credit card.
-
It makes no sense what she says, but I asked her 5 times. Usually if they are not sure about an answer they would open up a ticket. I wonder if upgrades and referral bonuses are linked to the plan and not the account. For a company who is marketing simplicity, this is sure complex and confusing.

The issue last night was on all networks and got resolved. The issue of calls dropping on Fizz ext is still ongoing.
-
If you already paid, there's no way to get your referral bonus.
-
it should be during activation.
-
I am assuming this is happening on Fizz network and not just Fizz ext? I called my parents who is on Fizz and it hung up. figured it would be easier to ask here than to explain to them how to check :-)
-
I see you're not on wifi. Connect to wifi.
-
make sure you're connected to wifi when you turn your phone on. It needs to download the carrier information.
-
70 days is odd. Anyone knows what happens if I add an upgrade, then activate a new sim card on my account (porting in number), then cancel my current sim. Would the upgrade apply to the new sim? If no one knows, I'll contact Fizz tomorrow and ask.
-
This is a know issue on Fizz EXT network. Are you getting dropped calls on Fizz network?
-
Jasper, it's just plug and play. I switch my sim around all the time. I don't even know where I would register the IMEI.
