He should still be able to connect to Fizz network and get 3G at least, no?
-
Are you on beta pricing or introductory pricing?
-
What phone are you using? When you go and pick the network manually, what network do you see?
-
The issue is the IOS. You need IOS 12.1 for it to work on iphone and iphone 5s is the oldest model that supports IOS 12.1.
-
Yes. And they have removed the Dec 19 deadline date. So not to worry until they pick a new deadline date.
-
I am not sure I understand your question. Did you cancel your plan and now want to re-activate your sim?
-
If you want this message to go to Fizz, you need to open a chat with them, or send them a message on facebook. This forum is users answering questions from other users.
-
no you need a credit card.
-
Jonathan, any idea what steps they took in order to do it?
-
no. you need a credit card.
-
It would be nice if they told us that. I am making plans based on these prices. If it changes, it wouldn't be worth it for me to port my Koodo number in.
-
Judy, I wonder if there's a bug there. All add-ons are supposed to last until the end of the billing cycle plus one month. When I click on them, that's the expiration they give. Maybe it's not the expiration they give for sms once you pay?
-
It's a bug. Go to the link and at the top right, click on 'stop following this question'
-
I see. It looks like you're missing a lot of tabs. Give it a few hours and see if they show up. Sometimes it takes a while to get all the functionalities. You have 15 days to cancel and get your money back.
-
It may take a while for the unsubscribe option to appear if this is a new line. But If I understand your situation correctly, the port wasn't successful so you don't have an active line with fizz. there's nothing to unsubscribe. What exactly does Fizz want you to cancel?
-
You don't have an unsubscribe option?
-
Yeah, totally worth it if you don't talk a lot. Just make sure you remember to re-buy the add-on when it expires. Or make sure you have no money in your wallet. Otherwise it will be $0.25 a call. With data, it's easy enough to log on and buy the add-on whenever.
-
No. you will need a new sim.
-
Wait a minute. I am confuse. Looks like they are both valid until the end of the billing cycle plus one month. Judy, correct me if I am wrong.
-
Judy, you're a treasure trove of information. I thought all add-ons had the same expiry date. But you're right, the calling add-on is longer. How does it work? looks like SMS is until the end of the billing cycle plus one month. Is calling plus two months?
-
I know right. I had my plan all picked out in the beta period, then they go and jack up the data add-ons. It would have been nice if they mentioned those were beta prices. Now I had my plan picked out with calling add-ons, and I find out it's not unlimited.
-
Agreed. The calling add-on may make sense. $0.05 a minute. Good for those who don't call a lot.
-
Kent, so I can click on confirm order and payment won"t go through right away?
-
Kent, where does it say it's only for 60 minute?
-
I have this problem too.
-
I haven't seen a solution for ios 10. Here is the solution for ios 11 https://www.reddit.com/r/FizzMobile/comments/9wz1lo/got_data_working_on_an_iphone_5_ios_11/
-
So the functionality is not available yet?
-
You need ios 12.1 so a minimum of iPhone 5s. There is a way to get fizz working on ios 11.
-
Just tried and mine fails at 2min57sec as well. crap.
-
There's an option to change your number under 'manage plans'. When I click on it, I have the option to pick a new number, or search for a new number by entering in the last 4 digits. Do you have the same options? Not sure what's available while you're in the middle of a port?
