If you have an iPhone and the SIM card go to settings -> phone

Might be a good For them to give a grace period if a payment doesn’t go through

I've had similar issues with distance from router usually being the culprit
-
Make sure you use a trackable return label

Three floors is tough for a single router. I have ethernet throughout the home and have routers on each level. Maybe overkill but signal is strong throughout

Is the box able to fit in a street mailbox?
-
I believe it's technically possible for a tech to split a cable signal so you can have two accounts
-
Unfortunately, Apple is holding onto its iMessage-only philosophy and slow to adopt RCS as fallback (instead will continue to fall back to SMS)
-
Thank you Fizz!
-
I rarely if ever click on links in SMSs unless totally sure its legit, just not worth it
-
Doesn't solve the specific issue but it's usually best to use your own router

Once you cancel with your old provider, your number is gone

FYI the fine print says: --- *The method we use to calculate data usage is automated. In case of a disparity between the data displayed on this page and those from other sources (example: your devices) the information presented on this page takes precedence --- So if it says zero usage (which mine has also shown the last…

Not likely in any near future. They're based on Videotron's network and Videotron is happy to have roaming partners rather than building their own coverage.

Everyone should make a formal complaint to CCTS as Fizz is forced to respond to every single one: http://www.ccts-cprst.ca/for-consumers/complaints/complaint-form/

Make a complaint to CCTS, maybe they'll do something to prevent this from happening every week: http://www.ccts-cprst.ca/for-consumers/complaints/complaint-form/
-
Videotron should just shut down Fizz and take all the Fizz customers on grandfathered plans. At what point is Videotron responsible for this debacle, not the two or three Fizz employees that probably make up the entire company?

Seems to be back in Ottawa

Showing 3G data but it doesn't work. Downtown Ottawa

I tried asking as well and they didn't know either... their opinion was that it was "just a fluke". i.e. the CS reps have no idea.
-
Should be able to use both if two slots are available I think
-
Your beta prices should be becoming intro prices I believe. Either way, you'll need to buy a new sim to port a number in.
-
Hi to all who replied, was this confirmed by Fizz? UPDATE: chatted with an agent and they had no info regarding prices for travel add-ons after the intro period, so not sure how people are so sure?
-
Log in and go to one of the help topics to see the chat bubble pop up after 15 seconds. I chatted with agents twice this morning.
-
A discount off an upcoming bill would be more fair imo.. data for a few months is just a throwaway for them.
-
Go to one of the help topics (e.g.: https://fizz.ca/faq/i-ordered-sim-card-how-long-will-it-take-to-arrive) while logged in and wait for the chat bubble to appear and chat with an agent.
-
If it's just a signal issue, then APN settings likely won't help. Are your speeds okay? Were you getting full bars with Videotron?
-
Nothing to do. Your account will be closed and any remaining prorated charges will be billed
