Is old 3G network finally shot down in Montreal?

I know it have been two years since announcement of the migration to voLTE, but until now older phones worked fine.

Few days ago my UMIDIGI and my friends Motorola phones stopped making or taking calls. Is it over with 3g?

Are there any mobile networks in the town that still offer 3g service?

Thanks

    Hello datagala,
I checked your account, and the main reason your calls are not working is that your current line is on a Data-Only plan (0 voice minutes / 0 SMS).
Standard cellular calls won't go through on a plan without voice coverage, regardless of which phone you use. You'll need to add voice minutes to your plan or purchase a voice add-on to enable calling.
Yes, the 3G phase-out is in full effect across Greater Montreal and Canada. Active 3G voice networks are no longer maintained in the region.
Without 3G as a fallback, all mobile voice calls now require VoLTE (Voice over LTE).
Once voice coverage is added to your plan, you'll also need to make sure your SIM is in a VoLTE-certified phone to make and receive calls. Devices like UMIDIGI or older Motorola models lack network-certified VoLTE profiles for calling.

    Have a great day.
