Has anyone done the identity verification with their payment method aka a card for eSIM transfer?

If so, did you have to cover most of the information of the card except for the digits and expiry?

    Hi, normaly you hide:

    • Full card number (show only the last 4 digits)
    • CVV (3‑digit code on the back)
    • Expiry date
    • Signature

    Visible:

    • Your name
    • Last 4 digits of the card
    • Card brand (Visa / Mastercard)

The first six digits are okay two. When it comes to credit card numbers

    • first 6
    • last 4

are public. The rest is private. The first 6 actually encode your card's brand, issuing bank and country of origin.

    Hello avo,
Thank you for showing your interest in our SIM change process.
After verifying your account, I noticed that you have successfully completed the eSIM change for your mobile plan and phone number directly from your account under My Plans > Manage > Change my SIM.
The identity validation step is mandatory during the SIM change process to protect your Fizz account and phone number, as we need to ensure that you are the rightful owner of the account.
You can also consult the following FAQ for more information: https://fizz.ca/en/faq/how-can-i-change-sim-associated-my-mobile-plan.
In case any issue is experienced during the SIM change process and the request can not be submitted from your Fizz account directly, then you should contact our support team via live-chat: https://fizz.ca/en/support  In this case, your identity will need to be verified during the live chat session before further assistance can be provided.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
    Have a great day!
