Fizz has used two different Internet modem models over the years. The newer modem offers improved Wi‑Fi performance, better coverage, and support for newer wireless technologies compared to the older model. However, both modems provide access to the same Fizz Internet service, and your available speeds depend on the Internet plan you subscribe to.If you currently have the older modem and are experiencing Wi‑Fi coverage issues, you may benefit from optimizing the modem's placement or using a Wi‑Fi extender to improve coverage throughout your home.

Hi, Fizz members who already have the Internet service can't switch to the new modem.
Both modems support gigabits. The change is mainly in the Wi-Fi, among other things. See here.
