"This member cannot receive gifts because they do not have a mobile data plan."
You have to have a mobile plan that contains data and your account must not be in incognito mode. Otherwise you cannot receive gifted data, unfortunately.

5IVMC is a good code to receive data. Please check your validations May be you copy a blank case before or after the code. Or maybe you have an ohher problem

I just checked her account. Privacy is set to 'The full experience' and she has the 1 gb data plan as in the screenshot. Shouldn't she be able to receive data?

Now the code is good, but I am very certain that I did copy the correct code earlier, too (without addition whitespaces). I am really sorry that this might have lead to confusion and this is and was not my intention.
PS: probably there was a trailing white space, I just realized, I am so sorry 😌
