Cancel
I activated my new plan today, but I have decided to cancel my service immediately. Because I am on day one of my activation and have used less than 50% of the plan data, I am well within the legal 15-day trial period window for a full refund. Please process the absolute cancellation of my plan immediately and issue a 100% refund to my payment method on file.
Thanks

I don't think, Fizz is still offering the 15-day trial with less than 50% of data used on regular plans.
Instead, they now have a dedicated "trial" plan with 100 minutes, 100 texts and 3 GB of data. This trial plan does not require explicit cancellation (it cancels automatically after 15 days) nor do you have to register a payment method. More information here:

https://forum.fizz.ca/en/discussion/2671377/refund-process-within-15-days-and-less-than-50Which unfortunately means, if you have activated and paid for any of the regular plans, you probably will have to pay for the full month of service even if you cancel immediately.

If the OP is in Quebec, the free trial is not an option and a refund should be available.

refund should be available
Can you provide any evidence that this is in fact the case? How did you arrive at this statement? I don't see any mention of a free trial for customers in Québec.

There is not the same kind of free trial available in Quebec as in the rest of Canada. You need to pay upfront if you want to try out Fizz.
The service agreements I have from earlier this year state you can cancel within the first 15 days and receive a full refund if you've used less than half of your data. It's item 6.1 of my agreements.
I had to cancel a new line I set up and I was immediately refunded.

I am not disputing that this kind of trial was offered in the past. I have this in the service agreements for my Ontario-based plans from March 2025 as well.
I am asking for available evidence such a trial still exists for new customers in Québec today. To avoid leading fellow forum member astray in future posts.
Easiest way would be for OP to check their Service Agreement for the Fizz plan they are trying to cancel. Although they hadn't mentioned if they are from Québec or elsewhere in Canada.
