Abuse or not? Your Opinion?
I have been warned for a comment in the following English post and my message in there has been erased : https://forum.fizz.ca/en/discussion/comment/7249670#Comment_7249670
My message specified that the referral code gaven by the asker was good. And this, eventhouh a Fizzer wrote it was a code of a person with a plan without datas. My purpose was to rectify the situation and allow that the New Fizzer asking datas could get some.
I wrote the referral code in black letters and insist it was a good one and I explained I did’nt have enough datas to give some. After my post the new Fizzer starts to receive datas (I’m glad for him) but an other Fizzer put a Flag on mine (not the one asking datas and not the one who made an error with the referral code, a third one who did not give data in that post). In my opinion the abuse was rather to put a flag on my comment.
I really think my message was not an abuse. And I sincerely think we must try to help each other. That’s the way to have a nice Community.
I answered to the Whizz who gave me the warning to explain wath I think and don't have a reply. So...
What do you think about it?

Should we be authorized to rectify a false information with a referral code when we see it? (Errors sometimes happen when we copy or write the referral code)
The Fizz moderators should they discard those kind of Flags?

Difficult to say, you haven't told us what you've received the warning for.
At the end, does it really matter though? Does the warning have any effect on your ability to contribute to this forum?
@Whizz warnings also aren't always fair. When I first joined, I got warned for answering a question in English that was posted in French on an English forum. I figured, since they had posted on an English forum, an English answer was better than none at all. If the question had been on a French forum, I would not have done that as I respect French being the language of choice in Québec. The @Whizz however moved the entire thread over to the French forum after I had already posted and then dinged me for using English on a French forum. Completely unfair. But what's the point of arguing it, it's just wasting everybody's time and is not helping other forum users.

I received the warning because I wrote that post where I advise that the code was good eventhough an other Fizzer just before said it was not. And this was the first answer to the main post asking datas. So, probabilities that other Fizzers give datas were bad.
My points are:- that we should be able to make messages like those when they help.
- that moderators should reject flags in those situations because when they authorised them the informative message is then erased.

Sometimes they review to fast, but just a warning it won’t have any penalities (annoying, but that all)

Hope i'ts just an error. I can understand it and excuse it without problem.
But I hope they have the option to verify the content of the message so they can judge if the flag is opportune.0 -
I am glad to tell you that I got an answer from the Whizz's team. It confirme they take time to look again the message I wrote to help a new Fizzer asking datas. (You know this message which has been signaled with a Flag by an other Fizzer) . The Whizz's team conclude that there was no matter to put a flag on my message and reintroduced it.
So, I understand that the Fizz moderators can reject a Flag if they state that the rules had been followed and that there was no abuse. That reassures me regarding the kind functionning of the Fizz community.

Sometimes, interactions such as welcoming new members or joining in friendly discussions are an integral part of forum life. It is a matter of common courtesy; in your case, wanting to let people know that the referral code was indeed valid for receiving data was a well-intentioned gesture.
