Gifting data
. Also, does fizz have a program where we can gift data to to persons who can’t necessarily afford a plan. I’m thinking of unhoused persons who still buy minutes and what not… it would be really great to put something in place, especially in MTL. PPL need phones, if only for safety measures when sleeping on street, and I’m sure the fizz community would gift a lot of data. Comments

On Fizz you should have an internet plan at least one Gb to be able to receive data Gifts, and Fizz gives data Perks every couple of months, it would be a good idea to help people in need.

But also very kind to suggest a program where we could share Fizz datas with unhoused persons. Impossible for now because actually we can only give datas to a Fizzer who have a plan with datas. May-be something could be done with organisation who help those people. Complicated. But if it's organised, I would certenly participate.

As Linkin correctly mentioned, the recipient plan must include a monthly data allowance in order to be eligible to receive data gifts. Plans that do not have mobile data included as part of their monthly allowance are unfortunately not eligible to receive gifted data.
