Unfortunately you will probably need to find a new provider within the next 3 months unless Fizz expands its coverage area. The majority of your usage needs to be in a subscription area:
Using partner networks (Fizz EXT)
Partner networks (extended coverage area) allow you to use your service when you are outside the Fizz network range.Important:
This coverage is designed for occasional use
Most of your usage (calls, texts, data) must take place within your subscription area
If you primarily use your services outside your subscription area for three (3) consecutive billing periods, we may restrict or suspend access to partner networks.More info: https://fizz.ca/en/faq/subscription-area-and-coverage-area

Thank you for your interest in our services.
I would like to inform you that, in covered areas outside Fizz's primary network, Fizz uses partner networks. Because of this, you may see Fizz EXT displayed on your device instead of Fizz.
Please note that the majority of your usage must remain within your primary subscription area. If more than 50% of your usage occurs on partner networks for three consecutive months, Fizz may suspend your roaming privileges.
@Goldfinch explained this aspect very well and provided accurate information.
If you wish to continue enjoying Fizz services without restrictions, you should reside in a subscription area, as covered areas that are outside the subscription area are typically served by partner networks.

I don't think you are technically able to keep Fizz if you move to a non-subscription area.

I would like to see Fizz available for subscribers in the following regions:
• Atlantic Canada
• Saskatchewan
• More cities for provinces that already have FizzI know that Eastlink is the main regional carrier in Atlantic Canada, while SaskTel has that status in… well, Saskatchewan. Even so, it would be nice to see Fizz and its affordable plans available for subscribers there. These regional carriers charge much more than Fizz does!
People may have family or friends that move or live in a different part of Canada, or they may have to move for a job. I believe that they shouldn't have to miss out on Fizz just because of this. I'd also say the same for Vidéotron, which owns Fizz, and Freedom, which is owned by Vidéotron. Please let us enjoy our plans across Canada! 😀

Anyone has real life experience staying outside the subscribers zone for extended amount of time (i.e. 4 months) ? Let's say I want to get away for a whole season, but planning to came back home after that period.
