Hello MTLXT,
Thanks for your question!
At the moment, we're gradually rolling out the new Wi-Fi modem based on available inventory, so we're not able to replace existing modems upon request. We also don't have any details on when the new model might become available to current members.
I can assure you that the CODA-4680 modem you currently have is not considered obsolete. It's fully supported, continues to receive updates, and is capable of delivering the speeds included with your Internet plan.
If anything changes regarding modem availability for existing members, we'll be sure to communicate it. In the meantime, if you're experiencing any performance issues with your current modem, let us know and the Community will be happy to help and troubleshoot.
I also went ahead and verified your modem's signals and everything is looking great. The signals are within normal parameters.
For any Wi- Fi related issues, the first step is to ensure you have run your network scan at home. If you have not yet completed the 2-minute network scan please follow the steps below to get started:
To start troubleshooting follow these instructions:
►Stand next to your Modem
►Open the Fizz Wi-Fi application and tap the 3 dots in the top right to open the application menu
►Tap Help
►Tap, Tool and Device
►Tap, Network Scan
This link has detail: https://fizz.ca/en/faq/how-can-fizz-wi-fi-app-help-me
Follow the prompts and accept all permissions until you reach the feature screen then click on Network Scan
Allow the 2 minutes Scan to complete (do NOT minimize the application)
Once the scan is complete, please navigate back to this chat.
I will then be able to review the scan details and pinpoint exactly what is causing your Wi-Fi issue and get it resolved for you as soon as possible.
After you perfrom the scan and you have any questions, I recommend that you contact our customer service representatives here: https://fizz.ca/en/support
Thank you for your understanding!
Have a good day!

Hi,
To get the newer CODA-5610Q Wi-Fi 6 modem, you have two primary options:
Upgrade your existing plan to a tier of 500Mbps or higher, or cancel your current plan and sign up as a new subscriber. The new equipment is reserved for higher-tier or new accounts.
It is the only way.

No, just upgrading the plan isn't enough. You really need to subscribe to a new plan of 400+.
