Travel add-on stopping partway through the trip
I recently had an issue where I bought a travel add-on for a trip and it worked fine for a week. Then it stopped working. I was still traveling, in the same country and nothing. It has happened on multiple trips actuially and always around the one week mark. I am home now but wanted to see if anyone else had this issue? I checked my Fizz account once I had wi-fi and there was still data and time listed in the account but my phone kept saying - your offline. No Google, no maps, nothing.I noticed this time as well that it didnt automatically reconnect to the Fizz network once I got home. I had to use Airport wi-fi to call an Uber. Is it the SIM maybe?

I am sorry for the issue encountered.
Verifying your account the Travel-add ons are active and functional.
While traveling, you are using our partner networks into the country visited. When it happens, restarting the phone, toggling airplane mode, or manually selecting another local network can fix it. Also please make sure that your roaming function is activated on the phone.
It is recommended to contact us once the issue happens to assist you in real-time.

It wouldn't be the SIM. That either works or it doesn't.
You may want to try other networks at your destination. I.e. go to manual network selection and try them all until you find one that works. Also make sure that your data roaming is enabled of course.
When returning to Canada, don't forget to select Fizz, wait for it to register, and then set network selection back to automatic.
And of course the lamest of all recommendations (but sometimes a good one), reboot the phone and see if that helps.
