some website : inaccessible when using my home internet with fizz
Hi.
I tried different solutions but still have the same issue with my home fizz Internet.
I'm not able to access some websites when using my home fizz wifi.
However, when using my cel data I can access these site without any problem.
Example of website: usherbrooke.ca to check my emails,
I'm quite sure it's the cause of my router !!
the message i got is:
Ce site est inaccessible
La connexion a été réinitialisée.
Voici quelques conseils :
Vérifier la connexion
Vérifier le proxy et le pare-feu
Exécutez les diagnostics réseau de Windows
ERR_CONNECTION_RESET
I restarted the router but the problem was not solved
Any help please
Thanks
Joe

Hi, I'd check your DNS first.
You can try to set it manually in your operating system or router and see if the issue resolves.0

Hello YOUSSEF A. #2139,
I’m sorry to hear you’re experiencing this issue.
Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:
- Try accessing the websites using a different device connected to your WiFi to see if the issue is specific to one device.
- Forget your WiFi network on your device and reconnect to it. Restarting your device can also help after doing this step.
- If you’re using a VPN or proxy, please disable it and test again.
I’ve also checked your account and your plan is in good standing. Your connection signals are generally within optimal parameters, although I do see a few instances of uncorrected signals.
We can look into this further, but you will need to contact our customer support team via chat here: https://fizz.ca/en/support. An agent will be able to assist you in real time.
As mentioned by Use_code_VGTIB , you can also try manually setting your DNS, as we can confirm that access to that website is not being blocked on our end.
Thank you for your understanding, and have a great day!
