LG TV Fizz app slow UI and frequent connection drop

Hello,
I am using the LG TV fizz app on my OLED TV and the app's overall UI is quite laggy/slow. I was also experiencing frequent streaming issues. I've decided to hardwire it to see if would help and while I did notice significant improvements, I still get streaming issues at times. Meanwhile, I have a Sony TV with built-in Android support and that one is wireless and seems to work flawlessly.

Any news as to when the LG TV app will be updated/improved ? I would rather avoid having to buy the wired chromecast from google.

Unfortunately, nobody knows, you have to keep an eye on the updates.

    Hello jfgoulet,

Sorry to hear about the issue.
It also depends on what specific TV model you have as some LG TV`s are not compatible - only the ones from 2018 with WebOS 5.0 support and higher should work without any issue as shown here : https://fizz.ca/en/faq/how-connect-device-view-my-tv-content

Generally speaking if the app works well with another TV it could be a TV compatibility issue as we can`t do much to solve it - maybe with future updates our team will try to improve the overall functionality but we have no updates as of yet.

    Thank you for your understanding.
    Have a good one,
