Hello @Ken1927 ,
RCS messaging is currently supported for Android users on Fizz. We don’t yet have an official release date or timeline. Once more information becomes available, we’ll share updates on our website and in the forum.
In the meantime, we encourage you to check the FAQs regularly and stay tuned to our forum for any announcements or news.
Please consult our FAQ related too:https://fizz.ca/en/faq/whats-rcs-messaging-android-phones
Thank you for your kind understanding.
Have a nice day!

Whenever Fizz decides to run their own infrastructure for RCS messaging or Google decides to support iPhones on their generic fallback implementation.

I don't know why it doesn't work on Fizz as Freedom has it. I'll be forced to close a line if it isn't added by the time the Discovery Discount expires as I want to send messages between Android and iPhone.

Any update? It looks like it's been almost a year and no progress has been made.Unfortunately, nobody knows. Fizz will let us know when this option becomes available.

Fizz might never support it, for all we know.
Users have requested Wi-Fi Calling ever since their mobile service launched in November 2018 and we're still waiting to see if it will ever be supported.

There are no news about Wi-Fi calling.

It's taking a really long time; we don't know if we'll ever get it.

It’s been 7 years already, that’s enough to lose any hope.

When it comes to WiFi calling, it is brand policy. None of the other third-level brands in the market have it either. If that feature is a must-have, you need to shop in a different market segment...

Fizz has confirmed that they're working on bringing RCS between Android and iPhone. I don't know about Wi-Fi calling.

@Pinball1 is right, they did confirm being actively working on RCS. They usually only reply that we’ll be informed when the feature is available.
Good to know.

Believe me, in the almost 4 years that I have been with Fizz, I have already heard so many of these "actively working" answers that I no longer believe them.
You can see the below discussion to see their promises:
