How to get your free data?

I received an email saying that I had a free upgrade available.
The instructions were:
Sign into your account on Fizz.ca. Go under My benefizz > My rewards > Manage my upgrades. A drawer will open:
• Select your upgrade.
• Click on Apply.
• Click on a free slot marked by a + sign.
I followed steps one and two, but when it came to step three, click on a free slot, I could see nothing and I don't have a clue what was meant by it.

Keep in mind that upgrades and perks are not the same thing,
upgrades are monthly rewards that you can load into one of those slots you mentioned under a plan.
Perks are a one time reward and can be activated in your account >> Rewards.0 -

You must have an active plan to apply an upgrade. After the activation process, the upgrade will be available during the next billing month.

Verifying your account, the Upgrade received is not applied.
To apply it access your account under My benefizz, My rewards, My upgrades, Add a bonus. Once the upgrade is added, it will be fully applied to your plan starting the next payment cycle , every month.
