I think it made more sense when people were depended on natural light and their sleep cycle had to sync with the sunrise.

Yeah, most of my devices now switch automatically so at least there's that but it is definetly annoying especially if some aren't synced.

That's true. Changing the time just seems drastic though. You might be able to change your schedule to your liking without changing the country's clock.

It depends… it's not always up to you to change your working schedule. I honestly don't mind.. 1 hour doesn't make such a difference for me

I mean most of the clocks already automatically adjust. The benefit of increased sunlight when people get off work would be an advantage. Also having light "later" in the morning means that sleep don't become disrupted as much.

I only had to change the appliances clocks, stove and microwave. The hood one goes by its own speed already 😅

There are negative health effects associated with daylight saving time jumps because it messes up the sleep schedule, so I think that's a pretty good reason to get rid of it. I would still like a free hour of sleep every now and then though.
