Do you think Canada should stop using Daylight Saving Time?
Some countries have already stopped using DST, do you think Canada should follow suit?

I think it made more sense when people were depended on natural light and their sleep cycle had to sync with the sunrise.

Definitely get rid of it. It's annoying to manually change all the clocks not connected to the internet.

Yeah, most of my devices now switch automatically so at least there's that but it is definetly annoying especially if some aren't synced.

That's true. Changing the time just seems drastic though. You might be able to change your schedule to your liking without changing the country's clock.

I had to change all the clocks in my home an hour forward so yes, DST needs to go

It depends… it's not always up to you to change your working schedule. I honestly don't mind.. 1 hour doesn't make such a difference for me

I mean most of the clocks already automatically adjust. The benefit of increased sunlight when people get off work would be an advantage. Also having light "later" in the morning means that sleep don't become disrupted as much.

I only had to change the appliances clocks, stove and microwave. The hood one goes by its own speed already 😅

I draw the line at one appliance. If two or more need adjustment - they're waiting for the next time switch!
