It depends on the situation, but when I can, I usually park in reverse. This is safer when I leave my parking space.

What do you mean? The car takes the same space and for experienced drivers it's pretty rare, I think, to be able to park forward but not backwards due to angles and such.

Yeah I'm sure, I don't know if that accounts for most drivers who chose to park forward, as it seems more common.

I always try to reverse park whenever I can so I can get practice since I'm a new driver just got my G2

Reminds me of the episode of Seinfeld where George tried to parallel park by reversing into the spot while another dude tried to go forward into the spot; and they fight over which way is right.

It's not like this with all the sensors and back camera.

If you have a small space to park you can not do it with the front of the car without 20 moves back and front. With your back you can do it in one move.

I don't back into parking spots mostly because I was not taught, but I understand that its probably a lot better to do it that way. Maybe when I get a new car with one of those backup cameras I'll try.0

I learned it with my driving lessons but having a fairly massive vehicle, I'm not sure enough. On a double seat, let's say, I move forward to the front seat so ready to go out.

I know, I said I wasn't comfortable and when I could, I parked to get out in front of me. Safer!
