What’s the weirdest food you’ve ever tried, and did you like it?
I’ve always been fascinated by the unique dishes people try around the world. From fried tarantulas in Cambodia to century eggs in China, there are so many odd foods out there. For me, the strangest thing I’ve ever tried was [insert personal example, if any, or just leave it blank]. Surprisingly, it tasted [insert description]! Now I’m curious, what’s the weirdest food you’ve dared to eat? Did you love it or regret it?

I tried fried grasshopper when I was in Thailand. Not bad actually.

Ate scargo and I didn't hate it but didn't like it enough to eat it again.

I've waited for some responses to reveal what I've tried — century egg. Honestly, it was very gross. I can't stand the texture, the color, and the taste. It was just too much for me. The dark, jelly-like consistency felt weird in my mouth, and the taste was overwhelming. Definitely not something I’ll be trying again anytime soon!

Well, I'm not a fan of seafood in general so that might be why I didn't like it. But also, maybe it just wasn't prepared very well by my Biology professor lol

Chicken and horse sashimi, fermented fish with millet (raw), pork brain, chicken testicles, pufferfish, frog, snake, fish sperm sack. I love them all!
I cook pig ears, chicken heart and ferment natto by myself on a regular basis.
I never regret trying new food as long as it’s safe to eat.0 -
Mix crushed century eggs, garlic, chili, cilantro, soy sauce and some vinegar or lime. Serve on rice or noodles.
Or make some congee with crushed century egg and any protein of your choice.

Food that is considered weird to one person might be normal to another person depending on the food they ate growing up or cultural background. So something like pig blood pudding might be weird to one person but it's a common food I've eaten at dim sum restaurants along with pig or beef lung, ear, intestine, stomach, liver, feet, etc.
