Current discounts on phone purchase *****
Hello, fellas. I want to express my dissatisfaction with the current phone discounts implemented by Fizz a while ago. My situation is as follows: I have a plan with many GBs of data and three kids with basic plans. I used to buy discounted phones using my kid's accounts, boosting their rewards and perks. Sometimes I was using 100 $ phone discount perk from one of my kids to buy a phone for another kid. That was one of the reasons for me to purchase a phone from Fizz. Since Fizz implemented a plan discount on a phone purchase, the phone purchasing lost any attractiveness for me. Not sure Fizz will do anything about this but just want to give my feedback regarding the new discount system.

Yes I agree, it would be nice to have the choice between a plan discount and a discount on the phone.

It depends on the model but it's true that for some it's not always the best offer.

totally useless blackfriday to me nothing for home internet and no promo on phones. and they push hard to sell their pixel which are bad phones. give me discounts on samsung or anything else plz. They even added home internet 400mbs for 49$ in the blackfriday section which is digusting because there is no deal on it at all. it was the price before blackfriday and they raised it up 2 months ago

Poor performance for a high end phone in comparison to snapdragon, apple or qualcomm chip from competitors.

Also the serie s25 will come out early next year they will have a nice jump in performance with the snapdragon elite.

Yea I totally agree some phones even went upin price! 2 months ago the base s24 ultra was 1799$ now they sell it for 2200$

I found the deals lacking as well.
The price for Pixel 9 jumps 200$ for 256GB storage so it would make more sense to buy from the manufacturer rather than from Fizz because their BF discounts are steeper than Fizz's and have trade-in.
If I had a bigger data plan it might be worth it but the manufacturer BF discounts are larger than Fizz's even including the -80% to my plan.
Maybe next year will be better. The price difference was ~$360 after tax.
The points would be nice to have but I don't know if it's worth spending $360 extra.
